Final Report on Trusted Blockchain-Based Projects for the EU Industry
Our Center is pleased to announce that on July 14, 2024, the final report on industrial blockchain in Europe, which was initiated and prepared by members of the well-known European association INATBA (International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications) since November 2023, was published. Since the beginning of this work, our team has actively participated in numerous discussions of ideas and proposals, as well as in the development of a comprehensive approach. And finally, after 8 months of work by almost three dozen well-known European experts — scientists, corporate lawyers, venture entrepreneurs, development engineers — INATBA published the long-awaited report.
This report is the first result and a unique collaborative product of its kind, providing an overview of the status of a large number of industry- or multi-sector public and private consortium projects as they use, offer or standardize blockchain technology as part of their innovation roadmap.
The entire development team, including experts from the Research Center of Blockchain Solutions and Simcord LLC, are confident that this overview is important enough to be studied for future decision-making and used for the widespread implementation of consortial cooperation, at least at the pan-European level. Among other things, the presented report contains an overview description of a unique decentralized ecosystem of services "Bitbon System" of Ukrainian origin, which, in turn, offers a new comprehensive vision of blockchain services and the basic infrastructure for them on a global scale.
The next step will be the presentation and mandatory distribution of this Report to the authorized persons of the European Commission, national state regulators and large corporations for coordination of efforts. We are pleased to note that our scientific and applied developments are visible on the European landscape of blockchain solutions.
Our team is grateful to INATBA and personally to Mrs. Barbora Greplova, who acted as a project coordinator, for her experience and pleasant cooperation. We look forward to new interesting initiatives and challenges from INATBA, which would allow us to deepen the integration of our developments in the European space.
Please note that the Industrial Blockchain Task Force aims to assess the status of private and public technological infrastructure projects in Europe that are implemented on blockchain technology and to publish a corresponding final report with an overview at the end of 2024. This “mapping” initiative is very necessary to solve the current needs of the European Commission and to clarify its official position regarding the support of European blockchain innovations and “cloud” infrastructure, which will be largely used by European industrial producers.
Also, this initiative is needed for the best possible combination of complex blockchain solutions with artificial intelligence in order to ensure the sustainability of EU industrial products and the processes of increasing the level of confidence in reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
