International Roundtable “Virtual Assets and Platform-Based Solutions”
An international roundtable discussion on virtual assets and platform-based solutions, initiated by the Department of Financial Law at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine, will take place on November 3, 2023.
The event is sponsored by the Research Center of Economic and Legal Solutions in the Area of Application of Distributed Ledger Technologies as well as by the Pavlunenko & Partners Bar Association.
Organizing this type of events constitutes one of the main goals of the Research Center of Blockchain Solutions aimed at ensuring a new quality of the common good through the introduction and promotion of digital technologies in various areas of life.
The Head of the Research Center of Blockchain Solutions and its two representatives will participate in the roundtable discussion presenting their reports on the connection between the theoretical framework for the development of the virtual asset sector and the practical aspects of using backed virtual assets in the real economy.
The main focus of the event is to discuss the role of virtual assets in the evolution of various industries as well as their legal regulation and the prospects for their further development.
The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Olga Dmytryk — Dr. Sc. in Law, Professor, Honored Science and Technology Figure of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Financial Law at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.
It will be held online via Zoom as well as live-streamed on YouTube.
